Tour H - Kilkenny & Swiss Cottages - O'Connor Bus Hire Limited

We will depart from your base centre at approximately 9.00am and travel towards Corbett Court Hotel for breakfast. At  around 10.30am we will depart from Corbett Court Hotel and travel towards our first attraction of the day, the Swiss Cottage in Cahir, County Tipperary. This charming house were built around 1810 and have been beautifully preserved. It is situated on raised ground overlooking the river and is accessed by a flight of stone steps. When we have spent some time exploring and admiring the cottage, we will then prepare to travel into Kilkenny city, where we will visit Kilkenny Castle.

We will have lunch in the Hotel Kilkenny before visiting Kilkenny Castle. This was originally built as an Anglo-Norman castle but has been altered and modified to the extent that it is now an impressive structure containing many architectural styles. After visiting the castle you will have some free time to explore the ‘Marble City’ of Kilkenny and perhaps visit some of the many shops and attractions.

We will return to the Corbett Court Hotel in Kilworth for our evening meal which will consist of a number of options to suit individual tastes. On leaving this hotel we will return to the coach for our journey homewards.
